Climbing the Naranjo de Bulnes isn't a race against the clock, but it pays to arrive fit. The approach alone is demanding, and once your hands are on the rock you'll want fresh legs and arms to enjoy the climb.
In the weeks before you come, spend time hiking with elevation gain and a pack, and if you can, get on a multi-pitch route to get used to the rope work. You don't need to climb a hard grade: on the Directa de los Martínez the key is moving smoothly and with confidence.
The rest we sort out together on the day. As a guide, my job is to get you to the summit safely and have you come down already wanting to return.
